Job Summary:
The HR Officer will play a key role in managing core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance. This role supports a growing workforce with a strong focus on talent development and aligning HR strategies with business goals in the health and wellness sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes: job posting, screening, interviews, onboarding.
- Maintain and update the organizational structure and manpower plan.
- Coordinate internship and graduate trainee programs aligned with company growth needs.
- Foster a positive work environment through regular employee engagement activities.
- Provide support in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and management to improve workplace harmony.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with Nigerian labor laws and global Otsuka standards.
- Monitor contract expiration, leave management, and attendance records.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring performance appraisal systems
- Support managers in goal setting, performance tracking, and feedback sessions.
- Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
- Track learning and development initiatives, certifications, and impact assessments.
- Prepare HR reports on recruitment, turnover, training, and workforce demographics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years HR experience in a structured organization (experience in FMCG, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical is an advantage).
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labor Law.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
