Job Summary:

The HR Officer will play a key role in managing core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance. This role supports a growing workforce with a strong focus on talent development and aligning HR strategies with business goals in the health and wellness sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes: job posting, screening, interviews, onboarding.
  • Maintain and update the organizational structure and manpower plan.
  • Coordinate internship and graduate trainee programs aligned with company growth needs.
  • Foster a positive work environment through regular employee engagement activities.
  • Provide support in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and management to improve workplace harmony.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with Nigerian labor laws and global Otsuka standards.
  • Monitor contract expiration, leave management, and attendance records.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring performance appraisal systems
  • Support managers in goal setting, performance tracking, and feedback sessions.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
  • Track learning and development initiatives, certifications, and impact assessments.
  • Prepare HR reports on recruitment, turnover, training, and workforce demographics.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years HR experience in a structured organization (experience in FMCG, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical is an advantage).
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labor Law.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
